“Staying at this hotel was like staying at a bed and breakfast with more rooms. When I arrived I was greeted by two young ladies. They were both very sweet and welcoming. Their interaction did not feel scripted or condescending like it feels at some hotels. Everything was very clean. We had plenty of towels for my reservation, which is surprising because I can't remember the last time I did not have to ask for more towels. There was plenty of soap/shampoo/conditioner in the restroom, which smelled great by the way. The pool was typical to any hotel, but the adjacent seating area was great for having family members not getting in the pool also join and relax while the little tadpoles swim. The pool table was easy to check out, and it was not next to a bar, which made it very family friendly, and great for teens and younger kids, who I saw playing. The board game area was large, and felt like a living room. Very cozy, and also displayed a TV. So it literally felt like you were in a living room. Plenty of space for other people to gather around the cozy seating the hotel has for dining, lounging, and studying. The vibe was very relaxing and inviting. The outside area with games is just as inviting. I mention all the lounging/gaming/relaxing areas because there's plenty of room for so many different people to enjoy the space, its broken up in a smart way that uses the space functionally. Being in the lobby area and hearing different groups of people enjoying themselves was very nice. To top it off, the two you ladies at check in were so sweet and helpful to anyone who had questions or needed something. They were also cleaning up as they saw a spill or a refill needed somewhere, etc. I was very impressed with my entire experience. I recommend this hotel for families, especially those with children of different ages, or staying in the area for a long period of time and want to save money in entertainment. I was here for a funeral. So grateful that this hotel did not feel like a prison to my children. The only thing that would havr made this hotel better would be a hot tub Forgot to mention proximity to other things. This hotel is right off the highway, and easy to get to, within 5 minutes of Urgent care, CVS, fine dining, fast food, HEB, Walmart, Kroger, Sam's, movie theater, bowling, shopping, etc.”

You can’t hear planes or anything with it being close to airport. Great for family’s. Had outside game and inside games. Also a pool table. Access 24/7 to hot chocolate and coffee. Really nice hotel.! Smelled nice and clean.!”

“Great location near the airport. New hotel next to a new Hilton Homewood Suites property. Nice sized rooms, and modern feel typical of a Tru Hilton hotel. The rooms have comfortable beds, faux wood floors, a good sized bathroom, a large flat screen TV, and desk with chair. The breakfast was decent with breads, pancake making station, yogurt parfait, cereals, bagels, toasters, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee with nice creamer, and an assortment of condiments. I recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay near the airport. They also offer an airport shuttle until 11pm, free parking, a gym, and a pool.”

“All glory be to God! Listen — when I tell you that from the moment I walked into the TRU by Hilton hotel lobby, I was treated with so much kindness, understanding, and respect, I mean it! It honestly felt like the royal treatment from start to finish! Huge shoutout to Ms. Destiny (her smile and personality could light up any room she walks into! ) and her amazing coworkers — everyone was so hardworking, polite, and professional! And can we talk about how the lobby smells FANTASTIC?! I almost asked what fragrance it was, haha! All jokes aside, if you’re traveling and need somewhere to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. It truly feels like a home away from home. #AllGloryToGod #HighlyRecommended #GreatService #HomeAwayFromHome”

“My boyfriend and I have used this hotel twice now for our weekend getaways… well go down the street… and WE love it! It’s a very modern looking hotel and so fun to stay at. Last night we stayed and our wifi wasn’t working… Courtney was SO helpful to help us with moving rooms and quick to solve the issue before we went to dinner. The GM was very kind to give us a bag of snacks too! We definitely will come back more often! We love the view of 635 and watching the sunset from our room.”
